Last night we had a wonderful Wiindrush Conference via Zoom our weekly FreeTalk with Cecil Walsh, Vie Clerc, Maria Philburn and the Channel Research Group
If you haven't been to our conference you missing out on so much! Last night we had history, stories of EU nationals arriving in the UK back in the 50s and common factors of experience and how the Brexit campaign and EU Settlement is affecting them personally and their communities socially.
Finally the young people gave a resounding presentation of a Windrush Conference and their review of the Wendy Williams Report - Windrush Lessons Learned Review published a few weeks ago. Altogether it was a full house and much love and connection in the room.
We hope you make it to a Windrush Conference each Tuesday. Join in, feedback or voice your concerns or ideas to be involved at these challenging or opportune times! As we hear and say it is time we came together and stand together for the interest of a human beings and in love.

Listening to your life story first hand touched me so much. And Maria I cried listening to your story about your beloved parents journey, history that lives on in you. Keep telling their story. The short version! Due to time.
The 3 million EU United Kingdom, Settled Status was a real eye opener for me. Absolutely love the many educated, eyes, mind open people in the meeting was powerful.
Keep it up Glenda Andrew and Anthony Brown. Hats off to you. Your son is a credit to his family ❤
